With the release of Drupal 11, several core modules have been removed and transitioned to the Contributions Space. This change is intended to streamline Drupal Core and ease its maintenance burden.
Modules Removed from Drupal Core:
Actions UI: Manages and executes automated tasks or "actions" triggered by specific events on your Drupal site.
Book: Facilitates the creation and organization of content into structured, hierarchical books, ideal for manuals, guides, or documentation.
Tracker: Monitors and displays the most recent posts on the site, providing a central location for viewing the latest content updates.
Forum: Manages discussion forums, allowing users to participate in threaded conversations.
Statistics: Gathers and shows website usage data, including popular pages and user activity, to monitor site performance.
Tour: Offers a guided tour feature to help users navigate and understand different sections of the Drupal website, enhancing onboarding and user experience.
Drupal 10 Support
Drupal 10 will receive long-term support until mid to late 2026, aligning with the new two-year release cycle where each major version is supported for a minimum of four years, followed by two additional years of maintenance and security updates.
